Étienne Riot, Ph-D in urban design, is in charge of the innovation and research lab inside AREP designlab, the design division of AREP. AREP is an architecture, urban planning, engineering and design company that creates spaces of mobility. Within the innovation and research lab of AREP designlab, Étienne works for implementing innovative solutions for the passengers and users of railway stations. His project aimed at bringing new ways of delivering the best service to operators and customers of station managers. Previously, he used to work as a researcher inside the City Mobility and Transportation Laboratory of French engineering school Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, and before, as a technical advisor for urban policies to the Mayor of Nantes, a large city in western France.
