Etienne is from a research academic background in urban morphology and energy at the Urban mophology. At a personnal level he is also a coding and blockchain enthusiast and an overall passionate of people centric urban design. His work at AREP mixes both backgrounds and he tries to design liveable cities from the bottom up, using IoT, apps and renewable energy technology. His works includes guidelines for the Lonquanyi masterplans, prototypes on waste managements with beacons or open data workshop in Lyon Part-Dieu.
